Message from table tennis archivist, Diane Webb
On behalf of the Swaythling Club International (SCI), I have been asked to write the history of the World Veteran Championships since the first tournament in Gothenburg in 1982.
To help with this I am looking for information in the form of programmes, photographs etc and also any interesting stories, snippets, experiences or quirky facts, particularly from the earlier championships.
I have some programmes but not a complete set. Can you help with programmes either as a donation to the archive store or on loan? Programmes needed: Gothenburg – 1982, Rimini – 1986, Zagreb – 1988, Lucerne – 2002, Yokohama – 2004, Rio de Janeiro – 2008, Hohhot – 2010, Auckland – 2014, Las Vegas – 2018.
